On 21 August we hosted an event to celebrate the publication of Alexander III, 1249-1286: First Among Equals, a study by Norman Reid (the Director of the Strathmartine Centre) of the kingship and reign of Alexander III of Scotland. Some 20 members of the user group and friends attended. Copies of the book are available from the Centre, at a discounted price of £40.
