A new book, ‘Scottish Ecclesiastical Heraldry: Religious Houses, Universities, Moderators’ by David Bertie, will be launched at the Strathmartine Centre on Wednesday, 22 January at 11.00am. Dr Bertie will discuss his book, the third volume in his series on Scottish Heraldry from the thirteenth century to the present day, which follows ‘The Heraldry of the Bishops of Scotland’ (2018) and ‘The Heraldry of the Ecclesiastical Deans of Scotland’ (2021). All three volumes received grant-aid funding for publication from the Strathmartine Trust. Copies of ‘Scottish Ecclesiastical Heraldry: Religious Houses, Universities, Moderators’ will be available for sale at the launch, priced £40.
